SPEAK BLACK GIRL
Speak Black Girl (SBG), is a woman owned podcast encouraging young women to utilize the power in their voice. SBG identifies and highlights women of color who are making an impact in life and breaking barriers.
The owner wanted a brand that had personality and spoke to her inner self, as well as her clientele (women of color, 22-45 years of age). We developed a funky tagline letting women know, you don't need permission to use your voice. Once the tagline was approved it was time to develop a mood board full of life, speaking to black girl magic and curating fun templates for social media marketing needs.
For the revamped brand logo, I went bold and simplistic. Something that could be used on product designs and packaging. For the revamped podcast logo, I wanted to play on the idea of being powerful. A vision to be utilized for packaging, product design, and stickers.
Speak Black Girl allowed me to use my voice to help make this brand soar.
