The lip bar
In 2012, Melissa launched The Lip Bar because she was incredibly frustrated with the beauty industry. She had so many questions. Why were most cosmetics filled with unnecessary chemicals? Why did lipsticks only come in a limited range of colors? And more importantly, why was the depiction of beauty so damn linear? Everywhere Melissa looked beauty companies, magazines, and the TV were telling women that you need to look like a specific thing to be considered beautiful. She hated it so much, she started making lipstick in her kitchen because she believed beauty shouldn't compromise health and because she was determined to not change the way she looked to fit into some superficial or trendy beauty standard.
TN Designs assisted the Lip Bar in their rebranding process by providing social media designs, flyers, web graphics, and photo resizing.
